Glib Chandrowsky (Глиб Чандровский)

Chandrowsky (1896-1976) was a Ukranian octavist. His artistic career began in Kiev. In 1919 he was sent abroad, and performed throughout Europe. In 1922 he gave his first concert in the United States. In 1929, as part of the vocal sextet "Bayan" toured France. Chandrowsky recorded with the Metropolitan Church Choir under N. P. Afonsky, as well as with the Russian Imperial Singers. Later, he performed with oktavists Paul Michalyk with Jaroff's Don Cossack's Choir.
